Emotion, spectacle and a draw on our visit to our friends at ZVC Komdalier Burst!

On Friday evening, Union Vrede FC played a thrilling match in the RBFA futsal championship, which ended in a dramatic 5-5 draw against ZVC Komdalier Burst.

The first half started superbly for our team, with an early goal from our new signing Enzo-Day opening the scoring. Unfortunately, the home side managed to turn the game in their favour with three goals in a row thanks to a tactically strong approach.

In the second half, Union Vrede FC showed resilience and scored to cut the deficit to 3-2. But just a minute later, the home side extended their lead to 4-2. That was when our top scorer Ibryam Ivanov stepped up. Despite coming straight from a training session with the first team, he made a huge impact on the match. Together with a goal from Idriz Mehmed, he turned the game in our favour – 4-5 with three minutes left to play.

The home side refused to give up, however, and managed to equalise in the final seconds of the match, making the final score 5-5.

Our keeper Toni showed incredible determination by playing the entire match with a broken nail. Despite the pain, he stayed on the pitch, as we had no second goalkeeper available.

Our team also had to do without several key players such as Georgi Iliev, Denis Aliev, Taner Sabri, Sali and others, who were injured.

After this match, Union Vrede FC sit 7th in the standings with 22 points from 15 matches. Our next challenge is a match against our friends at ZVC ROOKIES AFFLIGEM.

We thank our supporters, who backed us throughout the match, as well as our sponsors, who are an indispensable part of our success:
