F.C. Lexyss BG continued its fight for stability in the division with an impressive 7:1 win over Maroc United Antwerpen.
The matchday 10 fixture in R3A – Antwerp opened with a strong display from Lexyss, who were already 3:0 up at half-time. Although Maroc United have good individual players, they lacked cohesion, which left them unable to resist Lexyss's powerful attack.
After this round, F.C. Lexyss BG sit 10th in the standings with 12 points and a goal difference of -6. Although the team is in the bottom half of the table, recent results show an upward trend and the potential to climb.
The key to success: Tuncay's leadership and the new signings In the captain's absence, Tuncay successfully took charge and directed the team on the pitch. In addition, two new players trained in Turkey have been training with the squad for the past two weeks, and they showed their class in the match. Defender Diyar, who spent a long spell in the Izmirspor academy, quickly adapted to the game in Belgium and was one of the standout performers.
Another key player was Kenan, who reached a high level and brought stability to the team's play.
Focus on the future Despite the tough competition, F.C. Lexyss BG remain ambitious. “For a first year in the division, our main goal is to establish ourselves and make progress with every match,” says the club's management.
With performances like the one against Maroc United, Lexyss are proving they are a team with great potential, ready to take on the challenges of the division.
